Last week, we looked back at the Paris Motor Show.
This week, we invite you to dive into the heart of our manufacturing process and take a detailed look at the Galibot production line! Here are a few photos of the production line, along with a few explanations.
THE HIGHLIGHT?
Our Galibot has been designed (in Pas-de-Calais, France) with a view to maximum collaboration with local and French companies, in order to promote a sustainable and dynamic economic ecosystem. We are proud to mention our partners:
- Circulacar (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes): Circulacar is our key partner in designing the batteries for the GALIBOT. We have developed batteries that are specially adapted to the needs of our vehicle and assembled directly on our premises! This partnership highlights our shared vision of sustainability, with a focus on the repairability of batteries. In line with the GALIBOT philosophy, these batteries are designed to be easily repairable, extending their lifespan and reducing their environmental impact.
- BlackStar (Béthune): for comfort and durability, our Galibots are fitted with BLACK STAR remanufactured tyres, helping to reduce waste and preserve natural resources.
- Pirus Composites (Ruitz): for the machining of the polyethylene hull, we work with Pirus Composites, a partner recognised for its expertise and commitment to environmentally-friendly production methods.
- Iplast Plastic Design (Ruitz): for the dashboard, we are working with Iplast Plastic Design, a leading player in the field of plastic design, renowned for its expertise and commitment to quality.
- LDMD (Vendin-le-Vieil): the boilerwork for the chassis (the most important part of the vehicle’s structure) has been entrusted to LDMD Industries, to ensure it is as robust as possible!
By choosing to work with these companies, we hope not only to support the local economy, but also to offer our customers a high-quality, environmentally-friendly electric vehicle.
