A market of local producers to close the 3 European weeks of sustainable development

On 5 October, MOV'NTEC employees had the opportunity to take part in the local producers' market, organised within the plant. Access to this market was also open to employees of other companies on the industrial estate during their lunch break, again as part of the partnerships we are trying to develop across the Ruitz industrial estate. On the day, around ten stands offered employees a variety of local, quality products: fruit and vegetables, dairy products, soups, delicacies, meats, breads, honeys, herbal teas, oils, soaps, jewellery and so on.

What could be better than treating your family to quality local produce?

Each employee of our company was given 20 minutes of their working time to treat themselves at the market.

The market was a great success with MOV’NTEC employees, but also with employees from the industrial estate, who appreciated the diversity and freshness of the produce, as well as the direct contact with the producers. Some even discovered local specialities they’d never heard of before!

As for the shopkeepers, for most of them it was their 1st encounter with the industrial world. They also really appreciated the meeting between the 2 worlds!

A BIG THANK YOU to the local producers for their presence, and for the quality and variety of the products on offer.
