The powerful CARA network, a cluster and competitiveness centre dedicated to mobility solutions, has over 430 members, ranging from manufacturers to transport operators, research laboratories and training centres. CARA plays an important role as a representative of the PFA, the Automotive and Mobility sector, but also with the Fédération des Industries Ferroviaires (FIF) and the Vélo France sector.
CARA orchestrates collective actions, encouraging the implementation of research and innovation projects, the testing of demonstrators in real-life situations, as well as actions aimed at the economic and industrial development of its members.
Our company, Mov’ntec, is one of those members that knows how to exploit the advantages offered by the CARA community.
By joining this innovation dynamic, Mov’ntec is enriching its R&D and experimentation projects. This integration not only enables us to develop our business, but also to access a diversified network within the transport and mobility sector. In fact, our motor development project under the France 2030 Call for Projects has been approved by CARA, underlining our recognised expertise within the network.
Thanks to CARA, we have the opportunity to take part in international trade fairs, giving us greater visibility on the international stage. This organisation, based in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Centre-Val de Loire regions, complements the Aria Hauts de France network, which we have also joined.
One of the most valuable aspects of our membership of CARA is access to strategic information and the opportunity to pool resources and skills with other key players in the field of mobility. This collaboration enables us to benefit from comprehensive support for our projects, from their initial conception through to market launch.
CARA covers a wide range of mobilities through 6 sectors: automotive, industrial vehicles, river transport, guided air transport, rail, cycling & micromobilities, which is a major asset for the members of the network and for Mov’ntec. This diversity enables us to stand out from the traditional automotive sector and explore new market opportunities. For example, we’re applying to take part in Mobility Tech Days in November to present our engine, and we’re also planning to produce a podcast to highlight our innovation, demonstrating our commitment to concrete action.
The benefits offered by CARA go beyond simple membership – it’s a real driving force behind our projects!
